Kelly Grice

I’m a self taught English artist specializing in contemporary, biomorphic abstract watercolors, often incorporating the "klecksography" technique to find images within paint washes.

I create whimsical and often dark-themed works which are inspired by medieval art, cave art, and modern cartoonists, featuring intricate details, rich colors, and sometimes textured gold pigment.

I am constantly creating unique, fairytale-like illustrations or else Biomorphic Abstracts using the transparent watercolour technique of layering up thin transparent washes.
