Kirill Gera Arkadyev

Kirill Gera Arkadyev is a visual artist based in Phuket, Thailand. He has been exhibiting since 2007. His practice centers on the surface as a site of impact: color is not a palette but a wound, and the image forms under pressure rather than composition. Working across drawing and painting, Arkadyev builds figures that appear to be absorbed or subordinated by space, as if the work records an event more than depicts a scene. He treats certain gestures as irreversible—decisions that cannot be “corrected”—and uses this constraint to intensify presence and tension.

Exhibiting since 2007 in Russia, Italy, the Netherlands, South Korea, Armenia, Cuba, Serbia, and China. I am an active member of the Eurasian Union of Artists and the Russian Artists' Union.
