Gulmira Zhumartova

My creative career began in 2025, after retiring from many years of work in an international organization. My life up to that point was dedicated to the structure, diplomacy, and logic of global processes.

In painting, I found a different language—a language of color, intuition, and freedom. Lacking formal education, I draw inspiration from the beauty of nature and the complex intertwining of human emotions.

My works are a dialogue between rich life experience and a fresh, unrestrained perspective. They reflect both the discipline of an analytical mind and a joyful rebellion against all conventions.
