I am not a professional artist — just someone who found peace, joy, and color in painting. Art has always been my way of breathing life into silence, of expressing what words could never say. When I painted, I felt alive — it was as if every stroke of the brush carried a part of my soul.
From Madhubani, Pichwai, Indian traditional art, to portraits and abstract works, I have always loved exploring the beauty of my culture and the emotions hidden within color and form. My journey with art began in childhood, when I first realized that painting was not just something I loved — it was something I needed.
But life had its own plans. Responsibilities, family, and the expectations of an orthodox world slowly took me away from the colors I once lived for. I put down my brushes more than 30 years ago, and for decades, I only carried my art within my heart. Most of the paintings you see here were created long ago — before my marriage — and some were painted by my father, whose creativity and spirit deeply influenced me.
Now, at 64, my health doesn’t allow me to paint the way I once did. With migraine, arthritis, and cervical pain, my body no longer supports my passion — but my heart still paints in silence. I find peace in simply sitting...
