Paul Wright

I am an award winning artist and author from Liverpool. Following art-college, I painted murals in some of the iconic beat-clubs in the centre of Liverpool during the MerseyBeat era. When the ‘Beatles’ left Merseyside to become international I became a stage set designer working in British theatres, London's West End, for BBC TV and for several London based film companies. After eighteen years in the entertainment industry, I began painting murals in the homes of the rich and the famous and on occasion, royalty, in Europe and in the USA. Following that, I became an Italian resident and wrote the ‘The Italian Trilogy.’ Set beside Lake Como, the successful non-fiction series of books are about what it’s really like to live and work in one of the most beautiful places on the planet. At the same time, I began concentrating on my fine art and thanks to Saatchi Art I am able to showcase some of the results to the world.
