THE CONCEPT OF CREATIVITY

Elena Tananaeva's artistic practice develops from academic tradition to author's conceptual statement. At the heart of her current research is a critical and ironic dialogue with historical and cultural heritage, reinterpreted through the language of modern mass culture.

CREATIVE EVOLUTION

· 2014 - 2019: Beginning of the professional path. Mastering the academic foundations of painting under the leadership of Kantemir Anatolyevich Zhilov, a member of the Union of Artists of Russia. Work in a realistic manner, creating landscapes and still lifes.

· 2019: Turning point - acquaintance with the world-famous artist M.I. Kishev and his creativity. Transition to in-depth work on the portrait genre with a focus on psychologism and the transfer of the inner world through female images.

· Present tense: Shift of interest from external representation to a deep author's statement. In addition to the "Red Shadows" series, research work is underway on projects that study metaphorical connections between the human soul and the natural world.

· Painting: Professional training in the workshop of a member of the Union of Artists of Russia K.A. Zhilova (since 2014).
· Higher education: Journalism

· 2025 - Participation in the Palmyra-Colombia exhibition, Colombia.

· 2022 - Participation in the exhibition "Gallery of Nuovo Matt 13" Spain.

· 2021 - Group exhibition "Tequila Tres Mujeres", Mexico.
