Arzu Akbulut

Born in Balıkesir, Arzu is a passionate miniaturist.

From an early age, she has always been interested in art. She took drawing lessons and later discovered the magnificence of miniature art. She participated in numerous workshops, developing techniques that have contributed to the enrichment of her work since 2008.

She has taken part in many exhibitions, notably in Brussels, Istanbul, Ankara, Beirut, Amasya, Paris, Shanghai, Rome, New York, Florence, Trabzon, Gaziantep, and Turin.

She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Economics from Boğaziçi University and a Master of Science in Economics from the University of Reims in France.

She also obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy from Istanbul University and a Bachelor’s degree in Arts and Design specializing in miniature from the Turkish Foundation for Classical Arts (KTSV). She completed the Design program at the Mimar Sinan Fine Arts Academy in Istanbul.

She lives in Istanbul with her husband, their child, and a cat named Bozo.
