Ian Jones

As a self-taught artist from the UK, Ian Jones invites viewers into a kaleidoscopic world that is as much a visual journey as it is an introspective one, combining the energy of visceral imagery and digital technology.
Jones first turned to art as a means of therapy from past trauma. In the right hands, a tortured soul is a catalyst for creativity, and Jones uses his artwork now as a quest for light and fulfillment in a process of rebuilding his spirit. His paintings and digital works are part of this pursuit of mental freedom. Jones’ art is deeply informed by his travels and the visceral effect these environments have on his psyche. Thought photography and digital AI tools, his work explores his unique perception of nature and his engagement with community and the healing they offer.
