Yavor Baychev

I am Yavor Baychev, a Bulgarian artist and designer. I graduated from the National Academy of Fine Arts – Sofia, where I worked as an assistant in the Textile Studio (1991–1994). From 1997 to 2000, I taught at the Atelier "Textile" – High School of Arts, and between 1999 and 2001, I was a lecturer at Varna University.

Since then, I have worked as a freelance artist and designer, combining traditional techniques with contemporary approaches. My work is characterized by expressive texture, a refined sense of form, and an experimental dialogue between figurative and abstract elements.

My art carries inspiration and energy, especially when the result touches people’s senses, makes them feel joy and kindness. Through my work, I aim to create experiences that resonate emotionally, inviting viewers to reflect, feel, and connect with the transformative power of art.
