Helo…. my name is Desmond Chong, and I’m an artist based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. My journey in art began over 30 years ago, I specialize in Chinese art and traditional brush painting, creating works that focus on minimalist scenes such as bamboo plants, misty mountains and water landscape and flowers. These elements are not just subjects—they represent the calmness, resilience, harmony, and peace that I strive to express in every piece.
Painting has been part of my life since a young age, and it continues to be a source of inspiration, reflection, and joy. Through my work, I aim to bring moments of stillness and balance to those who view my art.
I sincerely hope that my paintings offer you a sense of peace, and connect you with the quiet beauty found in nature and tradition.
