DescInkArt Studio is a Malaysian art studio specialising in traditional Chinese ink painting (xieyi 寫意) — a classical freehand brushwork tradition that captures the spirit of the subject rather than precise detail.

With no formal training or institutional support, I developed my artistic voice independently, driven by passion and steady practice

Working primarily on Xuan paper (Rice Paper) and silk scrolls, the studio's subjects include bamboo, lotus, plum blossom, orchid, and mountain landscapes — each carrying centuries of symbolism and meaning in Chinese culture.
I also work with ink and traditional Chinese watercolour on Xuan rice paper, focusing on the Four Gentlemen (四君子) — bamboo, plum blossom, orchid, and chrysanthemum .
