Viktoria Ferencz

I am a Hungarian-born contemporary, emerging oil painter, printmaker and fine art photographer whose professional background defies traditional artistic paths. My artistic practice has developed across New Zealand, Indonesia and the Peruvian Andes. My work sits at the unique intersection of rigorous science, holistic natural medicine, and deep sensory exploration. For over a decade, I worked within Earth Sciences, GIS engineering, and academic research, focusing on a singular pattern: decoding complex systems and identifying hidden structures.

My understanding of the physical world deepened further through my studies in natural medicine, graduating as a naturopath specializing in herbalism and acupressure, alongside formal training as an aromatherapist. This background in aromatherapy is foundational to my current artistic practice; it heightens my awareness of raw materials, botanical textures, and the invisible sensory layers of the environments I capture.
