Krystina Nielsen

Born and raised in Ukraine, I moved to Germany at the
age of seven. Today I work as a contemporary painter
where I´m focusing on simplified figurative forms, intimate
interiors and everyday objects. In my paintings I reduce
bodies, clothing and domestic scenes to soft shapes and
muted color fields to create a quiet and nostalgic
atmosphere. My work explores how ordinary moments can
become poetic when they are removed from their original
context. Through a naive yet intentional visual language, I
reflect on memory, intimacy and the subtle narratives that
dwell in daily life.
