My oil paintings prioritizes color, form, and impressionistic approach. Rather than constructing an image through multiple layers, I work with decisive brush strokes, allowing each stroke to retain its individuality while contributing to the whole.

Paint is applied with intention and confidence, creating texture and rhythm across the surface. The focus is on how colors interact to suggest depth, movement, and atmosphere. This approach preserves a sense of immediacy within the work while maintaining compositional balance.

I work with a restrained palette to keep colors clear and expressive, letting light and contrast guide the painting rather than excessive blending. Up close, the work reveals abstraction and physical texture; from a distance, forms begin to emerge and resolve.

Drawing from the broader lineage of Impressionism and modern expressive painting, my work aims to capture transient moments — shifting light, changing color, and the quiet tension between structure and spontaneity — interpreted through a contemporary lens.
