I am Ibrahim Elbridy, an Egyptian visual artist, caricaturist, and the founder of the “Marj-Khayt” technique , an innovative art method that transforms fabric scraps into expressive, contemporary artworks.
My work blends Egyptian heritage with modern experimental aesthetics, presenting themes of childhood, family, folk culture, simplicity, and the emotional moments of daily life.
For more than 30 years, I have exhibited internationally across Europe, Asia, and the Middle East, and received multiple awards including the Sharjah International Award for Professional Children’s Literature & Illustration (2014) and the State Encouragement Award in Fine Arts (2017).
Self-taught visual artist with over 30 years of professional experience in illustration, caricature, and fabric-based mixed media art.
