ABOUT
I came to painting through tension rather than comfort.
Through discipline, displacement, and long periods of testing myself against limits: physical, mental, and cultural. Music, martial arts, silence, movement, foreign places... All became languages before paint did.
What ignites me is not form, but the moment it begins to dissolve. States where identity loosens, control slips, and something more essential surfaces. In these works, human presence appears fragile and transient, a mere trace rather than a figure, yet capable of shifting entire systems through the smallest gesture.
Painting becomes rather a ritual, a battle dance: movement between instinct and restraint, chaos and structure, matter and something unnamed. What remains on the surface is not an image, but evidence of passage, a mark left while moving through time.
