Vahan Vanian

I am a contemporary artist exploring identity and perception through abstraction, portraiture, and pixel-inspired imagery. Born into a family of painters, art was part of my life before it was a conscious choice. Growing up across different cultures shaped how I see images as carriers of memory, emotion, and human presence.

Now based in Southern California, I create paintings that often center on the face and human figure, translating digital visual language into physical form through bold color and simplified shapes.

Formally trained in advertising and graphic design, with a background in UX/UI and visual communication.
