Antonia Häring, born in 2000, has been studying at the Academy of Fine Arts in Nuremberg since 2019. At the center of her artistic practice are figurative representations that are not intended as concrete portraits, but rather as projection surfaces for moods, inner states, and emotional experiences.
Especially in her paintings, she explores the tension between closeness and distance, between what is visible and what remains unspoken. Her works emerge from an intuitive engagement with emotions, memories, and interpersonal moments. Through the deliberate use of color, form, and gesture, she creates pictorial spaces that invite viewers to recognize their own sensations or project personal experiences onto the works.
Painting thus becomes a means of making the unspeakable visible and opening an open-ended, multilayered dialogue between the artwork and its viewers
