ABOUT
RECOGNITION
I am Svitlana Drachuk, a Ukrainian artist and interior designer working at the intersection of acrylic painting, decorative arts, and cold batik on silk. My artistic language is shaped by the influences of Klimt, Monet, Mucha, and Japanese art, which taught me to feel rhythm, ornament, and the emotional resonance of color. Through my work, I explore themes of inner harmony, symbolism, and the fragile connection between people and nature.
For me, each artwork is more than an image — it is a meditation, a dialogue, and a reflection of intuitive experience. I combine expressive brushwork with textile fluidity, creating surfaces where decorative lines, shimmering textures, and color vibration merge into a living visual story. As an interior designer, I also consider how art interacts with contemporary space, allowing my works to bring warmth, softness, and meaning into the home.
My paintings and batik pieces are held in private collections in the USA, the UK, Japan, Germany, Belgium, and Austria. I continue to experiment with materials and form, guided by the belief that art can gently shift our perception of the world and lead us toward beauty, balance, and emotional clarity.
