Wassim Ahmed

My work is about memory, place, and the small moments that often go unnoticed. Through photography and film, I try to capture what feels fragile — moments that pass quickly, spaces that change, and emotions that are hard to put into words.

Travel plays an important role in my work. Moving between cities and countries, I am drawn to everyday scenes: quiet streets, rooftops, light on buildings, people in between places. These moments reflect how I experience the world — always observing, moving, and searching for meaning. The camera helps me slow down and really look.

I am less interested in perfect images and more interested in feeling. I focus on atmosphere, light, and details that carry emotion. A shadow, a reflection, or a moment of silence can say more than a dramatic scene. I want my images to feel honest and intimate, like fragments of a personal memory.

My background in videography and editing influences how I work. Even with photography, I think in sequences and stories. Rhythm, pacing, and mood are important to me. My projects often feel like journeys rather than finished answers, leaving space for the viewer to connect in their own way.
