Sonxada Zazel

I create one-of-a-kind sculptural works that transform luxury perfume bottles into meticulously hand-armored art objects. Using beads, faceted stones, and gold-toned elements, I build each piece slowly and deliberately, placing every component by hand in a process that emphasizes precision, patience, and reverence for craft.

My work explores transformation—how an object designed for ephemerality can be elevated into something permanent, tactile, and contemplative. Drawing inspiration from ornamentation, jewelry, and historical notions of beauty and mastery, I approach each piece as a form of assemblage that balances fragility and strength, indulgence and discipline.

I work exclusively in small series or singular works. Each piece is entirely unique and intended to be experienced as a sculptural object rather than a functional item. My practice values intentionality, craftsmanship, and visual depth over speed or repetition.
