Brooke Alison

Brooke works primarily in oil, moving fluidly between observation and abstraction. Her paintings often begin with elements drawn from the natural world and extend into explorations of focus, restraint, and presence. Whether rendered with realism or distilled through abstraction, the work centers on moments where attention sharpens and time feels briefly suspended.

Across her practice, color and form are used deliberately rather than descriptively, allowing stillness and motion to coexist. She is drawn to quiet intensity. The spaces between action and rest, clarity and ambiguity, where balance emerges with intention.
