Liliana Silva is a Portuguese artist whose sculptural practice emerges from the meeting point between matter, gesture, and silence.
Working primarily in ceramic sculpture, she hand‑builds organic forms that seem to grow on their own, tense, tactile, almost breathing volumes.
Her work explores materiality as a language, revealing surfaces shaped by movement, memory, and presence.
Guided by the idea of “The Future of the Past” her sculptures inhabit the space between the organic and the abstract, embodying a contemporary, process‑driven aesthetic marked by formal simplicity and a deeply sensorial approach to contemporary ceramic sculpture.
