Darko Trajkovic

My name is Darko Trajković, and I am a street photographer based in Serbia. My work explores silence, memory, and the subtle presence of time within rural landscapes. I am deeply inspired by the Banat region, where I photograph abandoned houses, aging facades, and quiet streets that reflect the slow disappearance of traditional village life.
I primarily work in color photography, focusing on textures, light, and stillness rather than narrative scenes. Through my images, I aim to evoke a sense of solitude and contemplation, inviting viewers to slow down and notice the beauty found in decay and absence.
Alongside my personal artistic practice, I work professionally in visual content creation, photography, and video. My work has been presented in group exhibitions, and I was a finalist in the 500px Photographer of the Year competition.
