Merlii s is a contemporary self-taught artist, recognized for her intuitive and liberated approach to art. True to his approach, Merlii rejects artistic conventions to immerse himself in art free from all academic influence. The new "Blurry Collection" series is an homage to instinctive creation, where intuition and deep emotions dictate the creative process. “Art doesn’t always have to be an intellectual exercise,” the artist adds, “it can be a simple reflection of the soul, a mirror of what we feel in the moment; intuition is my main compass.” Merlii continues her exploration of a wild, uncompromising creativity. Through her work, she questions the relationship between the artist and their environment, while inviting viewers to feel rather than understand.

“I want people to be touched viscerally,” she says. “The ‘Blurry Collection’ was born from a sudden creative impulse, without preliminary sketches or academic reflection.

“I want to capture pure emotion, that moment when instinct takes over and guides the hand,” Merlii explains. In this work, each brushstroke testifies to an expression freed from all constraints, revealing a raw and sincere energy. “It’s a raw energy that translates directly onto the artwork.”
