Zaineh Alshannaq

Zaineh is a contemporary artist whose work explores spiritual symbolism, historical memory, and the quiet authority of form. Working primarily with acrylic on unconventional textured surfaces, including carpet, She integrates calligraphic elements as both visual structure and sacred language.

Influenced by historical narratives, faith traditions, and the symbolic role of animals—particularly the horse—Zaineh’s work reflects themes of strength, devotion, and divine presence. Rather than literal representation, the paintings function as meditative spaces where material, text, and symbolism converge.
