Nature, Biology and the interconnectedness of all life has always fascinated me and my work reflects that. I strive for each piece to embody the grace, beauty and complexity found in nature. Through glass, I trace the hidden patterns that shape our world, seeking harmony between movement, balance, and the pulse of life itself."

For twenty years, Shane Dorey has been immersed in the art of glass. He began as an apprentice, learning the foundations of the craft through hands-on experience before stepping into a full-time role in production glassblowing — a discipline he pursued for over a decade. In 2019, his passion for exploration led him across the United States to work in a variety of glass studios, including time with Evan Schauss on Maui and Martin Janecký at the Corning Museum of Glass, where he further refined his sculptural techniques.
In 2020, Shane opened his own private studio, dedicating himself to developing and perfecting his own designs.
