Thank God for second chances!
I am 53 years old. I turn 54 this year in April.
I did 11 and 1/2 years in a federal prison and 1 year in a halfway house. I want to get that out of the way up front. It is in my past. I paid my debt to society, and delt with my addiction. Now, living with that Mark on me may be the hardest thing I have to deal with in life. I am thankful most of the thinking world is willing to alow me a second chance , and judge me from this point forward. Realizing my felony is not who I am. It us a mistake I made and paid for. I am so many other things. As I try to be better, and do more I continue to grow and enrich my life and my art.

I am a homosexual man . I met my husband Kresimir Mendoza in federal prison. Saw him from behind and was pulled to him instantly. It was livevat fist site for both of us. We married in prison in a religious ceremony. Now probation has said we have to be "legally" married in order to have contact with each other. Getting legally married in a nation that for years despised my love, and diminished my rites is not somthing either of us had planned to do. However now we must find a way to legally marry.

At 53 years old I am finaly going back to school to finish getting a degree. But isn't education somthing we should continue to build throughout our lives.
I am currently going to Helms collage earning a degree in culinary arts. I previously attended Reinhardt University.

CULINARY ARTS EDUCATION
I have apprenticed under chef Christopher Leahy, who sighned off for me to be a chef.
In 1995 I won 5 regional awards from the international Pizza Expo: first place Pizza, and spaghetti sauce: introduction of 3 pizzas BBQ Chicken, BLT, Mexican. The organization hs issued certificates to me, but clame they didn't keep regional records then.
I have a certificate for kosher food handling. Serve Safe. Serve Success hospitality and restaurant marketing.

RELIGIOUS EDUCATION
First let me say that i beleive all religions are unique and beautiful. They also all go together. Just look at how each religion views their heaven and the aria right outside their heaven. It so much apears that from one heave you can look into another religions Heaven .I love that!
