I create hyperrealistic three-dimensional sculptures of animals and people portrayed in distinctive professions and everyday roles—from small-town photographers to opera singers. Each piece is designed to feel alive, capturing personality, movement, and a strong sense of presence.
My sculptures are crafted entirely from recycled cardboard, which I transform through a meticulous, layered process. Using both additive and reductive techniques, I shape, refine, and enrich each form, allowing the material to reveal unexpected depth, texture, and realism. The contrast between the humble origin of the material and the detailed finish gives each work a unique character.
Inspiration comes from daily life and imagination alike: animals encountered in the city, wildlife from places such as the Galápagos Islands, and compelling human figures drawn from observation or fantasy. I create highly personalized, one-of-a-kind commissions, transforming a specific dog, profession, or character into a sculptural portrait that honors its unique spirit. Each piece begins with a clear intention and is then allowed to evolve organically, guided by intuition, patience, and a deep attention to detail.

With a background in Industrial Engineering and Theater Studies, I bring together technical structure and artistic experimentation in my practice. I offer the design, construction, and installation of scenographic environments for theater, opera, ballet, and musical performances, as well as exhibitions, runways, and fair stands.

My experience in stage design and stagecraft informs my sculptural work in recycled cardboard, where structural logic, layered construction, and narrative detail play a central role. This interdisciplinary approach allows me to create works that are both technically sound and visually expressive, transforming a humble material into immersive, story-driven forms.
