Undoubtedly, it all began with the lingering scent of paint in his father’s tubes and the soul-stirring wanderings through his brother’s library; from discovering the plates of Abrams’ monographs to contemplating Hogarth’s anatomy and perspective, and Itten’s color theory. Yet, what ultimately compelled him to create was life itself, not mere instruction.
​He has traversed a path of countless narratives and a turbulent existence; more than once, he has stood at the precipice of non-existence, coming face-to-face with death. This intimate struggle with mortality has now become the core element of his spirit.
​Though he lives today in profound silence and serenity, the echoes of a thousand memories and his raw encounters with the edge of oblivion have shaped him into a 'Naïve' painter. Through his work, he reveals that for a human being, no wealth is more precious than the opportunity of 'living humanely.' His art is a reclamation of life from the clutches of nothingness—a celebration of being, and an unadorned language for narrating what remains after the storm.
