Foey Foey

I love painting. It is one of the few things you can do completely alone. It is free, playful, and challenging. It feels like setting out alone on the sea in a small boat, trying to catch a big fish. You have no idea how big it is or where it might lead you.

I enjoy both vivid and muted colors. I express myself directly.

I love color. Sometimes you don't need to understand a painting. The feeling is more important. It's like loving someone—you don't always understand them, but you love them anyway. Those nameless feelings are the most fascinating.

Besides painting, I have published poetry and short stories. I also perform stand-up comedy in Stockholm.
