Diana Tovar Campo

I am a Colombian visual artist whose work explores emotional states, identity, and transformation through an intuitive and expressive approach. My artistic practice is largely self-taught, allowing me to develop a personal language driven by experimentation, symbolism, and emotional honesty.

My paintings often reflect inner processes, vulnerability, and resilience, using figurative and abstract elements to evoke introspection and connection. I am particularly interested in the mind, transitional moments, and the tension between control and chaos.

Each piece is conceived as a unique emotional record rather than a decorative object. My goal is to create artworks that resonate on a personal level, inviting the viewer to pause, reflect, and feel.

Based in Bogotá, Colombia, my work is influenced by personal experiences, psychological exploration, and the cultural contrasts of my environment. I see art as a space for dialogue, healing, and transformation.

Self-taught visual artist with continuous independent training through artistic practice, research, and experimentation. Complementary background in architecture, which informs my understanding of composition, structure, and spatial sensitivity in my artwork.
