Gabriele Grasso

Italian artist Gabriele Grasso blends technical expertise with a lifelong passion for pop culture and toy design. His journey began in early childhood, inspired by classic animation, before evolving during his adolescence through the dynamic worlds of Japanese Manga, with a particular focus on icons like Dragon Ball and the Gundam universe.
​After refining his skills at a professional Comic Book School, specializing in Character Design, Gabriele found a unique creative intersection between traditional illustration and "MOC" (My Own Creation) LEGO building. His current work celebrates the "Super Robot" era of his childhood—Daitarn 3, Grendizer, and Voltron—reimagined through a grittier, industrial lens that bridges the gap between mechanical design and fine art.
​Gabriele’s work has been featured in various exhibitions, where he showcases his ability to transform nostalgic memories into contemporary collectible art. His style is characterized by energetic linework and a deep respect for the mechanical soul of the giants that shaped a generation.
