Nouhine Tra

I am a self-taught artist who began painting at the age of six. Throughout my childhood, youth, and early adulthood, I explored various artistic styles and visual languages. Today, my work is rooted in a free approach, blending abstraction and figuration.
Although my academic background is university-based, with a degree in Political Science and studies in other fields, art has always remained at the core of my life. Drawing was the first talent I discovered, and art has since been my first and greatest love.
For me, creating is a refuge and an inner necessity. Art accompanies me through solitude and hardship; it is my most intimate language, my deepest source of comfort, and the guiding thread of my entire existence.
