Ann-Sofie Eriksson

Born 1978 in Nykarleby. Ann-Sofie Eriksson has worked with art since 2003 when she got a visual arts degree at Art Polytechnic in Nykarleby.

In Ostrobothnia her art is found in various public places in the form of sculptures, paintings and murals. In addition to Ann-Sofies own exhibitions in Finland, she has participated in joint exhibitions in Europe.

I often make watercolor trips, for new inspiration and to learn new watercolor techniques.
Inspiration and the driving force of one's own work come from the surrounding reality, the physical and the quantum physical.

Painting and creating in different media, but my favorite has become watercolor, as it is a living medium where you cannot predict everything in advance. It is with pure joy that I paint and I do this almost daily.
