I am Billy Rocky, a painter whose life has been shaped by diverse cultures and continents. Born in Madagascar to a multicultural family - my grandfather from China, my grandmother of mixed Indian heritage - I carry within me a rich tapestry of traditions and perspectives that influence my artistic vision.
My journey as an artist truly began during my studies in Russia, where I discovered my profound love for painting. What started as curiosity blossomed into a passionate calling that has guided my life ever since. Today, I live in Germany, but my heart remains deeply connected to Madagascar, my homeland that I visit as often as possible.
Nature is my greatest inspiration and constant companion. Whether I’m in the lush landscapes of Madagascar, the structured beauty of Germany, or exploring new destinations around the world, I find endless wonder in the natural world. Travel feeds my creativity - each new place reveals fresh colors, atmospheres, and stories waiting to be captured on canvas.
