Aleksandra Zawada

I live and work in Edinburgh.
I studied Painting at the Edinburgh College of Art.
I have worked in painting, photography. Since 2018, my work concentrates on sculpture ( ceramic and bronze).

My works are in the collection of the Royal Scottish Academy and in the private collections in UK, Italy, Switzerland and Japan.

My work is inspired by my love of sculpture; particularly Ancient, Japanese, Mycenaean, Etruscan and Outsider; by museum collections and by working directly with clay.
My sculptures are figurative, hand made, one of a kind pieces.
