Stewart Hall

Stewart Hall has spent most of his working life as a Sussex based figurative artist painter in the United Kingdom.

After leaving school over 40 years ago, he studied Art & Design at the Brighton Polytechnic art college(now the University of Brighton).
He then hired a studio and set himself up as a freelance artist. He undertook a wide variety of painting commissions including a steady flow of requests to reproduce famous paintings. Stewart was always reading art books and had studied Art History, so this work allowed him to further study the techniques of the Old masters & gave him a solid knowledge of how to paint in various styles.
Stewart exhibited his paintings regularly in London & met a number of stars along the way. He also met a film producer who asked him to appear in a television documentary for ITV about the meaning of Art.
Stewart’s paintings have found their place in many private collections around the world & clients include some A-list celebrities such as pop & movie star Madonna.

Today Stewart focuses his time on original figurative paintings mostly containing stunning celebrity portraits, idealised nude figures, the natural majesty of animals or the scenic splendour found in nature. He like...
