Roli Gál

I was born in Budapest in 1972. At the age of 20, I studied graphics, oil painting techniques, and art history at the private school of Dr. Ferenc Kesztyűs, a three-time international silver medalist painter, graphic artist, and teacher. It was then that I decided to dedicate my life to art. My painting develops in Impressionist and Realist styles. I draw a lot, have created book illustrations, and have numerous oil paintings. My first exhibition took place when I was 25, at the exhibition hall of the Cultural Association in Budapest's 7th district.

All of my exhibitions have featured only oil paintings. My works have been displayed in almost every subject, whether it was landscapes, still lifes, portraits, or even interiors. I participated in national and international exhibitions of domestic and foreign artists in Budapest, at the Hungarian Defence Forces' Sefánia Street gallery. On August 20, 2004, as part of the Saint Stephen's Day celebrations, I also had a large-scale exhibition on the Belgrade embankment. Later that year, on December 10, I had another exhibition at the cultural center of the 22nd district, where my works have since been regularly displayed. On January 26, 2005, I also took part in a group exhibition with several fellow artists at the exhibition of Kesztyűs Ferenc's studio artists, again at the Pesterzsébet gallery in the capital. After that, on January 26, 2008, my paintings were featured at the Radóczy Mária Gallery.
