Mcadam Hamilton

I am a contemporary artist trained at the Reigate School of Art and Design, working primarily in painting with a focus on bold colour, graphic form, and dynamic movement. My work moves between figurative and abstract, often drawing inspiration from fashion, sport, and landscape to explore energy, identity, and atmosphere.

Using clean shapes, layered tones, and high-contrast palettes, I aim to distill subjects into their most expressive elements—whether capturing the still power of alpine scenery, the immediacy of motion, or the attitude of a modern portrait. My process balances control with spontaneity, allowing intuitive marks and movement to coexist with refined composition.

I create work that is visually striking yet accessible, designed to engage the viewer emotionally while leaving space for personal interpretation.
