Lacey Butcher Bio
Lacey Butcher was born in Columbus Ohio, and grew up in Mount Vernon, Ohio. She has spent the last 13 years living in Centerburg, Ohio. She has been married for 18 years to Brad Butcher with whom she owned The Burg Café in Centerburg for 7 years. Brad and Lacey have two sons, Alexander and Andre. Lacey has been an artist her entire life and studied art at Otterbein University and graduated with an art degree in painting with a concentration in ceramics. She loves to travel and experience all of nature’s beauty in this amazing world that we all live in. She also strives to continually become more informed about subjects that interest her including art and becoming a better artist, natural healing, mental health, and personal improvement.

Artist Statement
This collection of work is my expression of how I see the world. I love all the beautiful colors that appear in nature, and I enjoy capturing that beauty in my paintings. I enjoy painting small paintings so that the viewer must get up close and examine the unique color combinations and textures that I am able to achieve with oil paint.
