Alejo Romagnoli

My work centers on symbolic imagery and archetypal themes. Visually, it can be associated with the traditions of tattoo art and classical engraving, where line, contrast, and iconography play a fundamental role. I am particularly interested in how images function as carriers of meaning — marks that exist between the decorative and the ritual.
Alongside my personal artistic practice, I work primarily as a freelance illustrator, with editorial projects being my main professional field. This ongoing dialogue between fine art and illustration informs my approach, combining conceptual depth with strong visual impact.

I am an Argentine artist trained at the Fine Arts Academy of Buenos Aires, where I developed a strong foundation in classical drawing and visual composition. I also studied Graphic Design, an experience that deepened my understanding of visual language, symbolism, and narrative structure.
