I am a contemporary artist exploring emotional landscapes through fluid mark-making and layered abstraction, moving between figurative suggestion and abstract form. I allow gesture, transparency, and rhythm to guide the narrative of each piece as it unfolds on the surface.

Many of my works grow from quiet observations of human relationships and internal transformation. Themes such as motherhood, vulnerability, resilience, and memory appear not as literal illustrations but as atmospheric presences within the work. Through flowing lines and translucent layers, I explore the tension between stillness and movement, intimacy and distance.

Experimentation with materials and gesture plays an important role in my process. I often let organic forms evolve intuitively, allowing the work to reveal its own direction. My intention is to create pieces that invite viewers to pause, reflect, and discover their own emotional connections within the imagery.

I live and work in India.

My practice is deeply influenced by an ongoing fascination with surface, texture, and the expressive potential of colour. Over the years I have invested significant time in hands-on processes in textiles and other materials, developing a strong appreciation for tactile surfaces and the subtle variations they bring to visual work. These experiences have shaped my sensitivity to pattern, rhythm, and the way the eye moves across a composition. I am particularly interested in how colours interact with one another—how contrast, balance, and tonal shifts can create movement and emotional resonance within an image.

Alongside this material exploration, I hold a Master’s degree in Textile Design from the National Institute of Design (NID), Ahmedabad, and a Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design and Technology from Chennai. While these studies provided a formal framework, my work continues to evolve through an intuitive dialogue between colour, pattern, surface, and observation.
