Clara Ebeid

My name is Clara Adel Nemr Ebied, and I am an Egyptian artist and contemporary painter with over six years of experience exploring atmosphere, place, and quiet narrative moments through painting.

I graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts, where I developed a strong foundation in traditional artistic techniques alongside a refined sensitivity to color, composition, and visual storytelling.

Working with multiple media—primarily oil, watercolor, and ink—my artistic practice is defined by the balance between fluid color washes and expressive line work. This interplay between softness and structure allows me to capture fleeting scenes of everyday life, environments, and moments of stillness.
Inspired by observation, travel imagery, and the emotional presence of place, my paintings focus on subtle atmospheres rather than direct narratives. Through this approach, I aim to create works that invite viewers to pause, reflect, and form their own interpretations within the quiet spaces of the image.

My work has been presented in academic exhibitions, including the Injaz Exhibition and the Fayoum Portraits.
