Jordi Machi

Jordi Machí (Algemesí, Spain, 1983) is a contemporary visual artist with a degree in Fine Arts from the Universitat Politècnica de València. His international career has developed through periods of study and artistic experience in Venice and São Paulo, followed by exhibitions across Europe, Brazil, Lebanon, the United States, Mexico and Asia.

Machí’s work moves between irony, emotional tension and the reinterpretation of popular culture. Influenced by artists such as Egon Schiele and Norman Rockwell, as well as by the cartoons and visual culture of his childhood, his paintings transform familiar imagery into scenes that question their original innocence. His work combines figurative painting, acrylic and collage, often exploring fragmented bodies, intense colour, relationships, memory and the tension between beauty and unease.

Throughout his career, his work has entered public, corporate and private collections internationally and has been connected with collectors and personalities including David Guetta, Ryan Gosling, the Bosé family and the Kardashian family, among others. He currently works between Madrid and Valencia, Spain.
