Antoine Daure

Antoine Daure, born in France in 1998, lives and works between France and
Ireland, where he has been based for the past three years.
Trained in architecture and graduated from the École des Beaux-Arts de Strasbourg (Sculpture Department), he develops a sculptural practice situated at the intersection of art and design.

His work explores and redefines ideas or concepts that are not immediately
perceived as artistic. His creative process is informed by social issues, personal
experiences, and situations drawn from everyday life.

At the core of his practice lies the notion of the off-frame (hors-champ): what exists outside the frame-the invisible, the overlooked, and the forgotten. Through this silent and often ignored territory, he questions our relationship to the world, what we choose to see, but also what we deliberately avoid,
ignore, or escape. This off-frame space becomes a site of exploration and transformation.
