Transforming the living movement of fabric into sculptural forms, capturing a fleeting moment and freezing it in time.
Oksana Pryima is a contemporary artist from Ukraine working with textile sculpture and wall reliefs.
From a young age she was drawn to the tactile qualities of natural fabrics — their softness, flexibility, and ability to transform through touch. Over time, this sensory connection evolved into an artistic practice.
Today she transforms the living, fluid nature of fabric into sculptural forms by shaping and fixing folds of fabric into textured reliefs where light and shadow become part of the composition.
Each work is handmade and unique, existing as an individual sculptural object.
