RECOGNITION

The creative activity of Latvian artist Madara Auzenbaha is related to painting, installation and graphic art.

The works of the artist are pictographic, symbolic narratives rooted deeply in personal experiences and adventures. They are characterized by a dominant theme of searching for a sense of belonging, as well as an exploration of the boundaries between objective reality and creation of myth.

We all seek for our own place of happiness – the artist's works are a wish to all of us to find it!

The artist graduated in 2017 from the Art Academy of Latvia, acquiring her Master's degree at the Department of Painting. As part of exchange programs, she has studied at the University of Barcelona in Spain, the Academy of Fine Arts in Münster, Germany, and the Paasikivi-Opisto College of Visual Culture and Communication in Turku, Finland.
