Sindhura Deevakonda

A sense of Awe, Warmth, and Wonder is what I would like you to experience through my art. I am a self-taught artist born in India, living in the United States since 2009. Although I have been painting all my life, only since the past few years I have been actively sharing my work with the world.
Nature is my all-time inspiration. I am fascinated by nature's universal patterns, color combinations, interconnectedness of all beings, and its mysterious, all-knowing Tao. A lovely lady who stopped by my art booth once described my style as a mix of impressionism and realism. I lean naturally towards an impressionistic style.
My most recent inspirations have been Indian ancient mythology and architecture. My roots and childhood in India help me bring these mythological artworks to life.
Watercolor and Gouache are my main art mediums. I like the play of colors I can achieve with watercolors and Gouache.
