Even Rosales is a contemporary visual artist whose work explores emotion, perception, and the fragility of human experience through figurative painting and sculpture.
Working from a personal condition of tritanopia (blue color blindness), his practice is rooted in the reinterpretation of color — not as an objective reality, but as a subjective and intuitive language. His work does not attempt to replicate what is seen, but rather to translate what is felt and perceived differently.
His figures often exist in moments of introspection, vulnerability, and quiet tension, embodying internal states rather than external narratives. Through the use of oil and experimental materials such as resin, Rosales creates surfaces where distortion, imperfection, and emotional depth coexist.
Currently, his practice is evolving into a multidisciplinary body of work that bridges painting and sculpture, developing a cohesive visual language centered on perception, identity, and emotional reconstruction.
