Junsung Chang

Born in Seoul in 1968, my early life was defined by the disciplined greens of the golf course. Following high school, I pursued golf with professional intensity, a period that instilled in me a profound sense of patience and unwavering focus. My journey then evolved into the intricate world of jewelry design and later into the dynamic sphere of golf retail management.
​At the age of 45, after navigating the complex tides of life, I discovered my true calling: oil painting. As a dedicated self-taught artist, instead of following traditional academic paths, I learned persistence and precision from the fierce fields of my own life. My only master was the canvas itself.
​My work is characterized by obsessive detail and a vibrant palette that leaves no inch of the canvas untouched. These intricate patterns—especially in my large-scale masterpieces—are the culmination of a jewelry designer’s meticulous eye and a golfer’s limitless concentration. I now invite collectors from around the world to share in the time and dedication I have layered onto these canvases.
